David Huff will keynote the meeting with a presentation on developing leadership skills.  He will focus on team building and communication.  Mr. Huff is a consultant who has presented at events nationwide and has particular expertise in the medical field.

Kathleen Mueller will be joining us for a presentation in coding and billing.  Remember Kathy from Newport Beach?  We are in for another informational packed presentation.  Remember to bring your coding manuals.

We will be joining APSA on Sunday morning for a joint session on The Business of Pediatric Surgery: How to Get Paid for What You Do. Representing APSMA will be Kim Danner, Anna Temple and Marisol Lara.  Representing APSA will be Drs. Richard Signer, Saad Saad, Ronald Hirschl, Eugene Wiener and Diller Groff.  APSMA members should encourage their billing and/or coding staff to attend.

Dr. Scott Adzick is our pediatric surgeon lecturer this year.  Dr. Adzick is surgeon-in-chief at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Director of the Fetal Diagnosis Treatment Team.  Dr. Adzick will be discussing the amazing developments in fetal surgery.
