Gentlemen:

It has come to our attention that recent messages sent to the Sticklist
have been modified by an unknown person(s) and sent along to the VF
administration and Board of Trustees in an attempt to undermine, slander,
or otherwise disgrace certain alumni -- namely John Rapp (President, Alumni
Association) and myself as the Sticklist administrator.

Be assured such allegations are false.

All messages sent to the Sticklist are publicly available for viewing and
can be found at http://attrition.org/pipermail/sticklist/.  There is
nothing to hide -- anyone can view these messages at any time.

However, please note that all future messages sent to the Sticklist will be
digitally-signed by me to provide a higher degree of authenticity regarding
the originator and contents of such messages.

We apologize for the confusion. In the current political climate, such
cheap shenanigans are to be expected from those with ulterior, if not also
less honorable, intentions.
