APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FROM YOUR
PRINCIPAL
THE ED. FUND $500
MINI-GRANTS, $1,000 SCHOOL-WIDE GRANTS and
one $2,500 SPECIAL
EDUCATION GRANT
Eligible Applicants:
-
All teachers, and parents and students working with teachers, may
apply for mini-grants.

Principals or teams of at least 3 teachers may apply for school-wide
grants and the Special Education grant.
Grant Requirements:
The Ed. Fund looks for:
-
innovative, exciting projects in all subject areas (for
example: math, art, writing, science, health, physical fitness)
-
high student impact
-
clear teacher/student interaction
-
clear integration with curriculum
If more than one teacher
from a school intends to apply for the same mini-grant project, the teachers
must submit one application for the group and not request more than $500.
One school may receive more than one grant, but not for replications of
the same project.
Application Source:
Your Principal or the school secretary. If your school runs
out of application forms, copy a blank form, call The Ed. Fund
(233-1464), or check the district web site (http://www.wccusd.k12.ca.us).

Deadline:
APPLICATIONS MUST BE
POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 1999.
Applications will be disqualified if they are not postmarked by the
deadline and if the applicant does not include the original and 4 copies
(each copy collated and stapled).
