Subject: Long Overdue Thanx
To All of Attrition.org: I am not one of the people you speak of that use
your info gathering for profit or otherwise without recognition, however;
i have been a visitor to your site since the early 2000's and i have not
even emailed you once to let you know how informative and well spoken
your site is. For that i appologize. It is sites like yours and many
others that have broadened my knowledge and molded me. I have lost quite
a bit of touch with the old underground i used to hang out in every
night. I have gotten older and moved away from the child ridden areas of
the undernet, etc. I will always miss the days of sharing knowledge and
meeting fellow enthusiasts. I am only one person saying this right now,
but without the leaders, like yourselves and the other well know security
portals that enhanced the scene, people like me would have been pretty
much alone in the quest for knowledge. Thank you for all you have done
and contributed. The posts on your site have helped to change my world

Glad you have enjoyed it. Mails like these also remind me that it really

I don't mind getting old(er). It beats the alternative.
Personally, I think attrition keeps us young. How many other people can do funny
and cool stuff and still be able to laugh about it 10 years later? Not many, I'd say.
