yeah, probably a third as difficult for the family of the deceased eh?

it is if they think he has an accomplace or there is additional crime
going on. as much as law enforcement can suck the big one, many times they
have reasons for what they do.

if they have a tap on your phone, you will not hear clicking 99% of the
time. it will be transparent to the person talking on the phone, as it is
designed to be.

if there IS a court order, you will not be able to get a copy of it
through any legal channels. it would be part of an ongoing investigation
and sealed, else anyone could find out if their phones are tapped and play
nice on the phone.

with your son in jail for capital murder, depending on his age, you will
have a lot less privacy and potentially less rights. there are a lot of
circumstances and facts that you haven't disclosed that influence this. so
all of this is best guess.

ongoing investigation means any records related to the phone tap (if it
exists) are sealed, end of story. i say "if it exists" because people tend
to hear things when they think it might be there, even if it is not.

yes, the jail operates a system completely different than the one law
enforcement uses. beacuse you hear clicks talking with your son, doesn't
mean you'll hear clicks talking to other people outside of jail.
