Hi Dan:

You are correct, there is nothing illegal about this image unless the
female in the picture is not of a legal age. Based on the context of the
picture, it is fairly safe to assume she is a consenting adult and 18
years or older. Given that the picture indicates she is 19 years old when
it was removed, and apparently intoxicated, it is very likely that *she*
was breaking the law when the picture was taken. If the picture is further
correct in the caption, then she also further broke laws by using drugs.

Normally we would not remove content unless it violated a law, however in
this case, I have no special attachment to any of the priceless images.
The only reason I keep them up in general is due to Mastercard threatening
to sue us over them in the past. =)

That said, I have removed the image from the gallery. If you contact the
individual who complained in the first place, please relay on two messages
on behalf of Attrition staff:

1. Next time, contact us directly and ask us to remove it. While we are
fanatical seal clubbers looking for gas tanks to pour sugar in, we do have
a shred of compassion and decency when it suits us.
