But there used to be time when television sets where set in public store windows so that passing customers could view the latest technology. In some peoples minds that may have been poisonous. So when I run such a store, and put my TV in the window, you MIGHT have an argument, but i still dont think so. If there is a TV in the corner of a bar, I can simply turn my back and problem solved. If there is a smoker in the room, I have to leave the room or be subjected to their smoke. Further, comparing smoke to tv is just lame. One destroys your lungs and polutes your body. You don't have a choice.. you can't say "oh, i won't let the smoke hurt me". With TV, if you have a strong enough mind (read: not a moron) the TV won't adversely affect you. Come on karry.. with all the stuff on this site, surely you can find something else better to harass me about!
