You see, all programs that cracked email passwords were based on the same core code...and that code was written with a time-based trigger. On January 1, 2001, that code timed out and destroyed itself on every computer in the whole world as soon as clocks rolled the date over. I'm surprised you missed all the articles about it; Slashdot ran a big feature on it when the security community realised what had happened. Hackers worldwide have been trying to find email password cracking programs that weren't affected by this destructive code...to no avail. The code is gone, and without it, none of us are able to come up with password cracking programs on our own. If you could somehow write a program yourself or find one on your own, you would make thousands of hackers worldwide absolutely worship you. Hope this helps! /dev/null
