[VIM] ELinks SSL Certificate Host Name Validation Security Bypass Vulnerability

Dinesh / Narayan / Venkat / Rob : can someone clarify what vulnerability BID 65092 covers?  The BID says versions prior to ELinks 0.12-pre6 are vulnerable. That version was released in 2012. And according to the release announcement — http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.elinks.user/2094 — addresses one security vulnerability : CVE-2012-4545.  Is this a different vulnerability than that?
