Dear Sticklist readers,

Following is an update to my note from earlier today:

It is my understanding that LTC Shawn Phillips, USA (Ret) '88, Superintendent of VFMAC, indeed is departing from the Forge. Moreover, I also understand that although his previously announced departure was to be in 2013 and after this coming academic year, the President of VFMAC, COL (Dr) David Gray, USA (Ret), also is departing VFMAC.  (I believe both departures are effective immediately -- however that has not been confirmed yet.)

I reached the Chairman of the VF Alumni Association Board of Directors this evening and he reports that official communications from the school about this matter will be coming out either tomorrow or Tuesday of this week. 

As always, I will pass along any official information or clarification about these items if/when received from the school.
