Gentlemen,

An interesting item on the VF home page that I wanted to bring to your  
attention.

If you go to the Photo Scrapbook under "Leadership Detail Graduation"  
and look carefully, you will notice some Cadet officers and NCOs  
graduating from the 2009 leadership detail who are NOT wearing  
capshields at their graduation parade -- thus indicating that they  
have not yet mastered their Capshield Requirements.

Specifically, I refer you to photos #112 and #198 for a Regimental  
Captain apparently without a capshield; photo #176 shows a Cadet First  
Lieutenant without a capshield, and photo #189 shows a Cadet junior  
NCO without a capshield on this chapel cap.

I have no further information on why this has happened, but should an  
official explanation offered, I will relay it to the Sticklist.
