[Nikto-discuss] + ERROR: reading DTD

the nikto.conf file points to to the DTD, by default:
NIKTODTD=docs/nikto.dtd
Make sure this file exists relative to Nikto's root directory. If you're
running from somewhere else on the file system you might need to update the
conf file to point full path to that file.
Lastly, see this post and consider running from github for a more
up-to-date Nikto:
