[Nikto-discuss] Failed to Update

This is because you are running the GitHub version, which doesn't have an
update directory on cirt.net. To stay up to date with this one you'll want
to run a git pull/fetch as you like.

Generally speaking, the GitHub version is more current than the stable
posted (though every now and then broken, though David and I both are
pretty good about not checking in broken things!).
