For anyone thinking otherwise, don't expect the US to terminate its post-9/11 state of war/national emergency anytime soon.  It makes it so easy to do all sorts of things, from enacting controversial legislation, restrict Constitutional Privileges for citizens, get extra funding for such programs, or, as the AG said today, kill citizen-enemies of the State.    -- rick
