NEW YORK (Reuters) - Walt Disney Co.'s ABC and ESPN have struck a deal with
Cox Communications Inc. to offer shows on demand, with the condition that
Cox disables a feature that allows viewers to skip ads, the Wall Street
Journal reported on its Web site on Tuesday.

The agreement, which is expected to be announced on Tuesday at the National
Cable Television Association's annual convention in Las Vegas, only applies
to programs available on Cox's video-on-demand menu, the Journal said.

Walt Disney and Cox could not immediately be reached for comment.
