It was earlier reported that 1.3 M had been breached.
The count is now up to 1.7 M

Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corp. now says 1.7 million people's personal 
information was compromised when a computer containing the information was 
lost. The new number is 400,000 more than the original estimate of 1.3 
million people.

However, TG spokeswoman Kristin Boyer says there have been no reports of 
the information . including names and Social Security numbers being 
improperly accessed or misused as of late this week.
