Not a chance of that happening, SS is the deadly third rail of 
politics, and with so many baby-boomers retiring, it would be a death 
sentence for ANY administration, and they all know it.
The idea of it being the incendiary issue setting of reform, yes, it 
might just be the ticket, especially if it resulted in theft of 
identities, and cash loss from banking accounts. There would be hell 
to pay indeed!
