Our individual views on this national tragedy are as diverse as the citizenry of
these United States. And though we each have our own words to share on
this horrific event, make no mistake about it: we speak with one voice.
At this time, we send our deepest condolences to the families and friends
of the victims of this senseless act of terrorism. We share the grief
and outrage that permeates our nation in the wake of this atrocity. We also
condemn this wanton violence and all who seek — in any way, shape or
form — to promote their selfish agendas by it.
