Undercover cop infiltrates organized crime ring in order to (yawn).... What is supposed to be a combination action/suspense movie is actually a huge waste of time and celluloid. To even mention this film in the same sentence as the action genre is blasphemy. This belongs in the Overwhelming Crap genre, with similar soulless abominations as Critters 3, Demon Island, and Battlefield Earth. Paul Walker's performance is atrocious, wholly unbelievable and bordering on amateur. I've seen elementary-school musicals with more substance. His performance is just awful. Even all of the stunts, violence and gratuitous *cough* nudity *cough* couldn't make up for this sweltering pile of Equus caballus faeces. Cameron Bright is as equally poorly cast here as he is in UltraViolet. Vera Farmiga, Ivana Milicevic and Karel Roden are perhaps the only saving graces in this abhorrent work. If you have time to kill, and absolutely nothing better to do, then find something better to watch then this.
This film is so poor, it demands a new low in the scoring scheme...
Rating: 0/5 - abysmal

Bad sequels are fast becoming proverbs, forget cliches. This film is no exception. If any single one of the performers possesses any professional training whatsoever, well, they don't. At times it sounds like they're reading the script, and other times it's like they're giving lessons in how to ruin a scene, consistently, continually, effortlessly. It's excruciating to watch, moreso than nails on a chalkboard or whatever your pain preference may be. Good alternative? Watch the original Cube. Now there's a cult classic. (There's only so many films that can be made with a roughly 14-foot-cubed [or whatever] set...).

Catalina Moreno's performance is stunning beyond words in this 2004 film about young women transporting drugs from South America to the U.S. for money and a chance at a better life, (not necessarily in the states). Maria's story is very moving, tugging at your heart every step of the way. In an effort to earn more money and escape her surroundings, she (naively) enters the world of drug trafficking. She eventually finds herself on a flight to New York, with several other fellow smugglers. The ensuing drama, emotional roller coaster and struggle to rise above her troubles make a poignant and heartbreaking tale. This film is almost entirely in Spanish, with English subtitles, which in no way subtract from this incredible film.
4/5 - waste no time getting the DVD

Don Cheadle and a fantastic cast tell the remarkable story of Paul Rusesabagina, who manages a four-star hotel, which is quickly caught in the middle of a brutal civil war. Briefly protected by a handful of UN troops, Rusesabagina and his staff struggle to shelter over a thousand Tutsis refugees who represent a tiny fraction of those that are being massacred by the Hutu militia throughout Rwanda. This is a graphic and powerful story based on historical events, which was absolutely robbed at virtually every awards event you can think of: the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAG, you name it. Don't let the failure of elitist judges prevent you from seeing one of the best films of 2004. Absolutely stunning.
5/5 - speechless
