After the allegations against Thomas Draper were published in BuzzFeed and then Ars Technica, Draper deleted his Twitter account and posted a statement to his Facebook account (de-activated ~ 2PM MST on November 18, 2017) from his PR firm, originally posted to his site for an upcoming book. As several have pointed out, the statement does not appear to apologize in any sincere manner and instead, states that Draper did not act inappropriately, and that it is that the people experienced Draper in a negative way. This is a form of victim-blaming that not acceptable to many.
