On July 21, 2021, Daniel Miessler Tweeted that one of his articles had been plagiarized. He called out Balaji N of GBHackers as the person responsible. The plagiarized material was deleted quickly but had already been mirrored on Archive.org. Miessler also mentioned that it appeared that other blogs also contained plagiarized material, indicating it was a pattern. Claus Houmann replied to the thread saying that the GBHackers had a history of stealing content from other sites as well.
According to Balaji N's bio, he is a member of Threat Research Labs at Comodo Cybersecurity. He also lists being a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) in his bio which adds a bit of irony to the incident. The parent body of the CEH certification is EC-Council, who has their own long list of incidents that put them on Errata.
