Started in October, 2010, Hacker5 magazine was touted by Vaidehi Sachin (Cattechie) as "India's first hacker magazine". In a blog post she announced "Hackers Magazine Hacker5 | India's First Hackers Magazine by Newsmakers Broadcasting & Communication Pvt. Ltd". This was picked up by other blogs who took the announcement at face value.
ClubHACK Magazine, an Indian hacker's magazine, started in Februrary 2010 and has been publishing every month since.
Sachin's claims are clearly false.
