One thing we were told is that he "relies on the shell companies he sets up in his and his wifes name" to influence people and give the perception of having more clout.
Using corporationwiki.com, there is certainly a level of questionable company filings related to Barry, Robin or companies they are involved in. The sheer number of companies using mostly different addresses and an incestuous linking between them is very curious. The records do suggest that the claims have merit. This brings to mind several questions. Why isn't Barry listed on SNET, the company he operated under for years? Why are companies listed as officers of other companies? What is the purpose of registering so many companies, many of which apparently have no public footprint? One bankruptcy filing in federal court (case 1:06-ap-02029) for Corporation Information Services, Inc. also names three other companies, are they part of all this?
