Springfield - Identity thieves strike again, this time targeting employees at Oregon Community Credit Union.

Earlier this week, a car was stolen in the Gateway Mall parking lot. Inside the car was a packet of insurance forms. It contained the names, social security numbers and addresses of about 200 Oregon Community Credit Union Employees.

The company has purchased extended identity theft insurance for everyone affected. "We put this in place as quickly as possible so actually every single one of our employees that was affected has already received a phone call either yesterday or today from Identity Safe Guard to get the process started," Marketing Director Laura Illig said.

The thief has already tried to use the identity of one employee.

Company representatives say this incident is limited to their employees and that no members are at risk.
