In reference to the Apr 1, 2005 Hoax, one of the files included was a list of current CISSP's from the ISC^2 web site. The method for obscuring the information on their list was basically non existant and took less than 1 minute to download. This is of course a small embarassment for a security outfit.

If you feel that "General" has violated the ISC^2 Code of Ethics, you can file a complaint. Of course, the steps involved are extremely lengthy and discourage any such complaints.

Actually I don't need permission to post an e-mail address. I am not
violating any law in doing so. If you feel this is incorrect, please quote
the relevant law and/or case law that suggests my action is illegal.

Further, now that you have mailed me, I will be including this on the
Going Postal section of Attrition, specifically the "Wrath of the
Impotent" section, for legal threats.

Until this line, you were doing well and I likely would have removed your
address as requested. Now, not a chance in hell. Further, I am CC'ing
Dorsey Morrow, legal staff for ISC2 to make sure they are aware that one
of their CISSPs has resorted to threats such as this, which violate the
CISSP code of ethics.

Jericho
