Drowning in religious propaganda, I feel I'm being smothered "Please take this pamphlet," some man says to me, "it will change your views of religion I guarantee." "No thank you sir, I don't want this, I'm atheist." "Oh dear lord, you don't believe in the lord, are you a Satanist?" "I just told you I'm an atheist, now please let me be." Yet, the whole walk to my class, this guy keeps bothering me. "If you don't believe in the ways of god, you'll certainly go to hell." "I told you I don't believe in God," -"oh, oh very well." "Just please take this pamphlet and see what it has to say." "Look man, do you think it's going to change my view of religion today?!?!" Just to get him off my case, I take it and shut my classroom door. Walk a few feet and toss it on the floor. He followed me all the way to class, I can't believe that! -damasa Jody....... Letting Go ---------- Another day gone by Time slpping through Asking myself why Infinity's loop won't let me go Emotions grasp won't let me see Loves embrace tries to tell me no Alone in this world All the death I see Pointless and futile None of it should be But as always Life moves on I don't care any more Tomorrow is another dawn -Shadow Wolf Broken 11/21/00 Uncertainty is brutal, when the truth is so evasive. So many lies, too much deciet And the trust is gone. Empty, like you first knew me. Broken, the bond bewteen us. The minutes feel like hours, day, week, what's the difference? I feel so alone, left to fend for myself. Breathing feels so heavy, every sound and motion amplified. Dying, my thoughts... Breath escapes me as I drift away. Empty, Broken, The day I left. Breakthing every dying breath. Rev. Reep Sight Set on You ---------------- Once again, I returned to you. Just the other day. I watched from a distance, I don't think you saw me. You kept your comings and goings, moving about as always. With nothing in your way. Yet, somehow you seemed different. Maybe it's just me. Maybe you have changed? Maybe it's just a world of what if's... not unheard of, for certain. I wanted to go to you, to feel your caresses, for you to embrace me. As it has been before. Even to sit beside you, without saying a word, as I have so many times - previously. It's said that when you sit with one, for hours on end, and get up, feeling as if you've talked. That means that you've really found your match. Or maybe it just means you're crazy. Maybe it's just a world of what if's... - Kamira (c) Copyright 2001, January 24th, 2001.
