TheMo-Man My voice echos across the void Bouncing, richocetting around Against the jagged rock of this Torture rack they call reality. Translucent sould cling hollowly Moaning while the blood drips from knuckles above Fists dirtied by hate and ignorace The same masticates them slowly. I thrash about, sinking deeper The damned's apathetic cry luring me No pain, never again, never be lonely... My desperate cry weans as I drown. I see the light come towards me I am transfixed by the beauty Alas, I turn and shield my eyes Lest it be quasaratic. But the light lingers and I like it I deny it and hide in the shadows Consorting with souls as twisted as I Rotting inside to out I rot not Only implode into the empty wasteland within me. I lie in apathetic stupor And watch a figure come out He has feathered wings, arms that envelope all I turn away, not believing this is true My pain will consume the light I must not destroy such splendor. He reaches down and lifts me up Up forever I am safe in his arms I shed the tears still hot In awe how an apparition got this close. I question the reality If I fell from such a height I would stir not upon the dirt My cold tears fusing me With the crag on which I impale myself I tumble into the warmth of his eyes He loses his grip and we slip Destroyed by my want to love But my unableness to A bitter smile greets gravities call. Mors Today without forever a weep untold nor mirror it claims all our sight with a searing tear all fallow and forsaken taken unto strike a distance and torture you bring this sorrow night With weaving and your grace towards all fleeting it maims all for lack of running slated fear all stagnant, woven, spoiled and so bright a flying forboding you bleed this cresent night Mizt Glimmer Something rising out of the mists, becoming clearer as it approaches. Just in time to see there is a hint, a hint of vengeance, of justice. Leaving the dark and going to light. Light shimmering about it, as dark lingers. There is something nearing, yet ... no words to describe, no pictures to represent. - Kamira (c) Copyright September 19th, 2000 I Died today I took some pills & died today could not see any other way trapped inside, left behind darkness around, leaving me blind no future to see, all hope gone could not see where i went wrong Blaise ------------------------------------------------------------ E D I T O R S: jericho@attrition.org, geekgrl@attrition.org ------------------------------------------------------------ to receive new issues via e-mail, send mail to majordomo@attrition.org with "subscribe poetry". if you do not have FTP access and would like back issues, send a list of missing issues and they will be sent. ------------------------------------------------------------ A V A I L A B I L I T Y: WWW: http://www.attrition.org/~poetry ------------------------------------------------------------ (c) Copyright.
