Some facts you should know:

1. Not every location can get DSL. The telephone company's (telco) central office (CO) serving your location must be equipped with DSL capability. Several suppliers such as Rhythm and Northpoint are installing equipment for this purpose.

2. The telco will not have lines available for every DSL implementation requested. An order must be place to determine line availability.
   
   
3. The distance from the CO determines the speeds available at your location.

4. Installation times vary greatly and can be very long. For this reason we strongly advise customers to keep present systems and procedures in place until the DSL line is installed and tested.
