GeForce 2 GTS preview is UP!

Finally the clock has struck 15.00 pm (which should be 9.00 am EST) and our NDA is lifted.
Scott visited NVidia this last weekend and brought home a piece of silicon that I would happily have flown over to get. But since NVidia hasn't moved their HQ to Sweden yet Scott took my place and he's the one who has had the pleasure to play around with the card.
This is the first part of our preview of the card. We've managed to get some benchmarks done in Q3A and 3D Mark 2000. This coming weekend Scott and Das will do a lot more.
In the preview we also have 30 screenshots from games like Giants, a special Q3A level and Sacrifice. Some of the screens are stunning!

Hi Roland
A had Vsync On and Off. I think I am hitting a problem with the CC820 motherboard. Other reviews from the guys that I meet with a nVidia are faster yet. I am thinking about buying a new motherboard this weekend and doing the benchmarks over again. Keep checking back and see if I can get the scores up. By the way even lowering the detail level I still got stuck around 78fps in QIII so I really do think it is the motherboard.

Yihaaaa! Nice!
I have two questions regarding the Q3A benchmarks.
(1) What demo did you use in the benchmark?
(2) It sure looks like you have vsync on and a refresh rate of 75, because all benchmarks level out at somewhat below 75 FPS. Is that so? In that case - I am surely impressed - then we at last have a board where you can run at a nearly constant FPS!
