The Soldiers Of Truth During Anarchy, or S-O-T-D-A, makes it's move on cr4sh.net by defacing it's web content. I'm not going to make stupid rants like "SOTDA OWnZ J0!" or any thing like that because that would just reflect stupidity of the largest sorts. I don't even really consider myself a so-called "31337 HaX0R" yet, but this job was so easy to do. Just brute forced on a Win95 system for god's sake. Didn't even have to boot to my Linux OS. I am one who tries to stay humble in my quest for knowledge (which of course Mr. Cr4sh does not on the forums did he?) Don't worry though, no files have been damaged or deleted despite the fact he didn't have all that much to begin with any way. Now, after being finished with my little rant, let's get on with the site shall we?

It seems the MPAA has been trying to throw around some weight lately, and us computer enthusiasts/Linux users have been getting fed up with all this crap. So, in order to retain a somewhat sense of political meaning to this hack, the source code for DECSS is in the comment-line of this .GIF file. I do think that the whole situation will be won by the public in the end, for the word just has to get out to the general public about what's really going on aside from the media's slightly abstract way of representing it.
