Fee-For-Service Methodology for Mainframe Data Processing

A DoD-wide effort to optimize information systems and their impact on mission accomplishment resulted in a series of decisions and agreements to consolidate Marine Corps mainframe data processing. As a result, on 6 November 1995, the Marine Corps completed the migration of all six of its mainframe data processing centers into one site managed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). As our service provider, DISA will provide mainframe data processing services to the Marine Corps on a Fee-For-Service (FFS) basis.
