Swim Ontario will be offering the following Level I, II, and III Technical courses between September and November, 1999.

The minimum number of participants must be registered in order for the course to be held. Course maximum will be approximately 20. Full attendance is a must for all courses.

Please be aware of the prerequisites for each course:

Level I Technical

Candidate must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of the course. Level I Theory is strongly recommended.

Level I Combined

--

Candidate must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of the course.

Level II Technical

--

Fully certified at Level I (Theory, Technical & Practical), plus Level II Theory. Photocopies of this documentation must be attached to the registration form. Candidates will only be placed on the course list if all the required information is provided!

Level III Technical

--

Fully certified at Level I & II (Theory, Technical & Practical), plus Level III Theory. Photocopies of this documentation must be attached to the registration form.

Candidates will only be placed on the course list if all the required information is provided!

A cancellation/administration fee of $35.00 (plus GST) will be charged to any participant withdrawing from the course after the registration deadline noted above. No refund will be given to any candidate who begins, but does not finish the course.

General Course Information:

Level I and II Technical:

Exact times will be specified when registration is confirmed. Generally the course will start in mid to late afternoon on Friday and run all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Level I Combined Course:

This course consists of the theory, technical and practical portions and will be offered in three parts, commencing in September and finishing in November. The three weekends are noted above and attendance at all sessions, all three weekends, is mandatory. Upon completion of the three sessions and the course workbooks, participants will be completely Level I certified.

Level III Technical:

This course will be held in conjunction with the CSCA Conference and will run over four full days. Attendance is mandatory at all scheduled Level III sessions. Candidates will receive a final itinerary when registration is confirmed.

A registration form is attached. Please fill in all information pertaining to the course for which you are registering. If you need additional forms, please copy and distribute to interested coaches within the club. Please complete the form and mail it, together with your cheque for the correct fee, made payable to Swim Ontario, prior to the noted deadline. If you prefer, you may pay by VISA or MasterCard.

Receipt of your payment will confirm your registration in the course. If the course is full you will be contacted regarding a waiting list. If the course does not have the minimum number of required participants, the course will be cancelled and you will be notified as soon as possible. If it becomes necessary for you to cancel out of the course, please notify us as soon as possible.

Space is allocated on a "first come" basis.
