Latest News

3/30/99 - Hydrospanner is reporting on some intesting news regarding the Official SW Celebration coming up in Denver in about a month. Be sure to check out their site for the full report. Here's part of their story: Due to counterfeiting problems, if you ordered the 3-Day Event Pass from the Star Wars Fan Club/MosEspa.com for the Star Wars Celebration (April 30th-May 2nd, Denver, CO) you will NOT recieve them!

Rod from our Rebel Friends section also called the fan club and here's the reply they gave him yesterday: The operator said I would then receive a confirmation of the order first (I suppose like the e-mail confirmation the rest of our staff has been receiving), and that they don't send the tickets anyway: the only send a VOUCHER and you have to go to the ticket booth in Denver to get your tickets. The guy said that even when the voucher did arrive too late for me, they'd still have my name in the computer, and upon showing a legitimate ID I would be able to get my ticket at the ticket booth in Denver.

3/29/99 - Again, we understand that the tickets for the Celebration will stop being sold in the very near future. If you are going and haven't bought a ticket, you may regret it soon!

3/29/99 - BTC Travel by phone today confirmed that 6 hotel properties are SOLD OUT. Those wanting to get in on the hotels closest to the Celebration are out of luck. They are now booking accomodations further away from the event.

Also, discount flights on carriers are still available. I (Josh) booked my flight today from Chicago to Denver for $150. The travel agent said they have been going quickly and the time is slipping away if you want to fly cheap.

3/25/99 - Shop.starwars.com has released an image of what looks like the official poster for the celebration. Check it out!
