Q: what is this "sexchart" thing?
A: the sexchart is an ascii representation of everyone you have kissed,
   either directly or vicariously. it started with just one person - me,
   in fact. so you've got my name, & all the people i've kissed are
   connected to my name via dashes (--) & pipes (|). then all the people
   THOSE people have kissed are linked to them, and so on. it has evolved
   into an enormous mess of web-like horror, & i couldn't be more proud.

Q: has the sexchart received much media attention?
A: i've performed related interviews for both NBC3 & WSVN, a miami FOX
   affiliate. the sexchart has been featured in on- & offline newspapers
   around the world, including hungary, mexico, spain, russia, europe, the
   netherlands, & the states. the flurry of media activity began when wired
   news called me for an article. all of these events are recorded on the
   sexchart homepage, http://www.attrition.org/hosted/sexchart

Q: how do i get on the sexchart?
A: you have to have at least an email address - the sexchart is only for
   internet users. then, you have to kiss someone already on the chart.
   take that kiss by force if you need to! then email crank@got.net with
   your nickname & your victim's nickname, & smile smugly when the next
   update is released. be honest - cruelty is more fun that way.
   of note: i NEVER reveal my sources. your anonymity is guaranteed.

Q: what is this "announce-only mailing list"?
A: whenever a new chart is released, i attach it as text & list the new
   revisions into the body of the email. this is shipped to the mailing
   list in "lcc" format, which means you only see your own email address.
   i do not use my list for anything except sexchart-related updates or
   news. email crank@got.net to be added to this list.

Q: doesn't the sexchart piss off a lot of people?
A: yes.

Q: do you ever remove people who ask nicely &/or send gifts?
A: i never remove valid links. validity is determined by group concensus,
   photographical evidence, & my own instincts which've been pretty
   spot-on thus far.
   if you find a bogus link, email crank@got.net with that information. be
   aware that the few times i've removed valid links, i've received a slew
   of emails stating such, so don't bother lying to save face as you will
   be found out & not trusted in the future.

Q: who are you, anyhow?
A: i'm lish. i am an egoist who values honesty above all else. i look like

Q: i heard a rumor that you put the sexchart on your professional resume.
   how did you manage THAT one?
A: i'm clever. in addition to the following text with does indeed appear at
   the end of my resume, i had prepared a short verbal explanation that
   expounded on the chart without stating its actual motivations or contents.
   but i never needed to explain; interviewers were impressed & did not
   inquire further.

      Sole keeper of immense, active Internet database which has earned
      public recognition from:
      - NBC3, KNTV in California
      - The News Station, WSVN in Miami, FL
      - Several newspapers, both domestic and foreign, online and off
      - Wired News

      This project entails my administration of:
      - An announce-only mailing list
      - A website including update history and media attention archive
      - A communications system shell script written by me

Q: you amaze me. can i send presents?
A: yes. know that i don't open ticking packages. you can also paypal
   crank@got.net any old time you like. i will probably spend your money
   on lacy underthingies, if that's any incentive.

Q: what if i want to sue you? this is slander!
A: slander is spoken; libel is printed. in either case, i don't connect
   nicknames in any way to the people they represent (pictures or website
   addresses, et cetera) so, no; you may as well save your efforts, kick
   back & realize the chart is ultimately harmless & silly, & enjoy it.

Q: what the fuck, are you some kind of prick?
A: yes.

Q: okay, so there's no way i can get this really disgusting link six years
   in my past off the chart. what can i do to feel better?
A: my sexchart is not a true "sex" chart, as it were. this gives you
   leniency to fib to people & say you made a mistake & kissed the person.
   you can also get revenge on those who betrayed your trust by betraying
