Symantec recently notified the Maryland Attorney General's Office that a laptop stolen from an employee's home contained some employees' names, addresses, and social security numbers.
No information was provided as to when the laptop was stolen, where it was stolen, how many employees had data on the laptop and whether the data were encrypted or if there were any other security measures in place.
