Subject: Your certified letter

Thank you for making your position clear on my reproducing your intellectual
creations. Actually, even if you had not sent that letter, I am limited by
law to using no more than 250 words from any of your emails, web pages etc.
No half-way sane publisher would take the legal risk of violating copyright
law, either. You will see soon enough that I keep within those guidelines.

If you give me a fax number I will send you the current draft of the cover
for Happy Hacker. I really think the guy with the gerbil on his shoulder
doesn't look like you. If you have gotten a lawyer yet, I'll be happy to
send it to him, too. When I get the galleys of the "Hacker Wars" chapter I
will be happy to send them to you for comment, also.

P.S. There are an awful lot of people who can give evidence that you not
only are a member of TACD, but they are your abject groupies.
