The personal information of thousands of University of Cincinnati students and graduates has been stolen.

A flash drive was taken from a U.C. Employee last month. It had the Social Security numbers and other data for more than 7,000 people.

A University spokesperson says there is no indication that any of the information has been misused. Letters have been sent to students and three major credit reporting agencies.
