Your NewsChannel 3 has learned that someone has stolen two computers from the Radiation Therapy department at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk.

This affects a little more that 100 patients of the Radiation Therapy department.

According a letter from the office of Executive Vice President Daniel S. Duggan to The Oncology Associates of Virginia, the computer thefts happened on August 28th and most recently on September 11th. They were stolen from the patient care area.

As a precaution, the hospital says in the letter that they are in the process of notifying patients of the situation and they are working with a credit-monitoring agency to help them monitor their credit without charging patients.

Patients who are in the radiation therapy department at DePaul Hospital in Norfolk should contact the department with any concerns.
